Main principles
The intelligent low-speed groundwater sampling system adopts an airbag pump with a discharge control unit, fixed below the groundwater level, and the water body automatically fills the airbag under the action of water level pressure. The high-pressure inflation pump inside the ground intelligent controller provides air source power to compress the airbag inside the pump, and lift the water sample in the airbag to the ground water quality intelligent detection unit, which monitors six parameters including pH, temperature, conductivity, oxidation-reduction potential, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity in real time. When the changes in six parameters meet the technical requirements of HJ1019-2019, the water sample automatically flows into the sample collector. During the sampling process, the change in groundwater level is monitored by the discharge control unit. When the water level drops by more than 10cm, the controller automatically stops working. When the water level of the water supply returns to within 10cm, the controller automatically starts sampling. The water sample has no contact with the air throughout the entire process. The airbag and water sample pipeline are made of specific materials, which do not chemically adsorb VOCs and preserve the original state of the water sample to the greatest extent possible.

G. The O. Sampler intelligent low-speed groundwater sampling system mainly includes: airbag pump, water level drop control unit, water quality intelligent monitoring unit, intelligent controller, and pipeline system.
(1) Airbag pump
The airbag pump (Figure 1) is a low flow rate, undisturbed groundwater flushing and sampling device, suitable for collecting various groundwater, especially VOC pollutant samples, and suitable for monitoring wells of various sizes. There is an airbag inside the pump body, with the upper end connected to the intake pipe and the outlet pipe, which are respectively connected to the controller and the water quality intelligent monitoring unit. The air and water samples are not in contact throughout the entire process. The application of airbag pumps can greatly reduce the amount of well flushing water. Compared with traditional pumping pump flushing sampling methods, it has the advantages of low flow rate, low speed, and no disturbance.
(2) Release control unit
The discharge control unit is used for monitoring the water level drop in groundwater sampling, and obtains accurate dynamic groundwater levels through atmospheric pressure compensation in the intelligent controller on the ground. The release control unit is integrated into the airbag pump body, adopting an integrated design, fully realizing the collaborative automation of water level changes and release control.
(3) Intelligent water quality monitoring unit
The water quality intelligent monitoring unit includes a specific material flow rate pool and multiple water quality measurement sensors, which can measure six parameters in the water sample in real time, including pH, temperature, conductivity, redox potential, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity, for automatic determination of sampling conditions. At the same time, it can also serve as water quality data for continuous monitoring of groundwater quality, providing support for the subsequent groundwater quality monitoring big data platform.
(4) Intelligent controller
The intelligent controller is the central control hub of the entire sampling system, which can provide multiple functions such as gas source, discharge control start stop, sampling interval setting, water quality parameter reading and storage, flushing end prompt, automatic switching between wastewater pipe and sample outlet pipe, display and transmission of sampling records, etc. Simultaneously reserve multiple data interfaces that can be matched and connected to big data platforms; It also has wireless transmission and mobile app synchronization functions, which can achieve reverse control between the data platform and the mobile phone. The intelligent controller and water quality intelligent monitoring unit are integrated components installed in the automatic monitoring station.
(5) Pipeline system
The piping system includes air, water, and electrical circuits. Among them, the water and gas paths are independent of each other, and the sample does not come into contact with external gases throughout the entire process, ensuring the compliance of the sample.
